We are pleased to welcome Dr Xavier Buch as the new President of Heraeus Epurio, succeeding Bernd Stenger, who will retire in the middle of the year. To ensure a smooth transition, Mr Stenger and Dr Buch will jointly lead Heraeus Epurio from March 1 until June 30, 2024. From July 1, 2024, Dr Buch will have sole responsibility for Heraeus Epurio and will manage Heraeus Epurio from our site in Dayton, Ohio, USA.

Dr Buch is a distinguished engineer with a doctorate in materials science and a master's degree in chemistry. Prior to joining Heraeus, he worked for a major semiconductor materials company in various R&D and sales roles until 2020, when he took responsibility for its European activities.

“With his vast industry experience, Xavier Buch is set to bring innovative vision, steering Epurio towards its mission of continued excellence and global growth, particularly in semiconductor chemicals. His proven track record in leading successful teams and driving technological advancements aligns with our strategy. I welcome Xavier and wish him the very best in his endeavors,” said Bernd Stenger, Heraeus Epurio Co-President.

"I would like to thank Bernd Stenger for his many years of commitment to the Heraeus Group. He has developed and successfully managed various businesses for Heraeus for almost 40 years. I wish him all the best for his new phase of life. With Xavier Buch, we have been able to gain an expert with many years of experience in the semiconductor market as his successor. From Dayton, Xavier will drive the transformation of the site and further expand the international semiconductor chemicals business, and I look forward to working with him," said Jan Rinnert, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Managing Directors of the Heraeus Group.
