Printed Electronics

Printed electronics are making life simpler, more flexible, and more cost-effective, which is why they are increasingly available to a broad range of industries. Printed electronics come in several production modes. They can be produced entirely by printing or in a hybrid system or printed roll-to-roll or on sheets. There is constant and ongoing development with new products and applications emerging. Heraeus Epurio’s leading conductive polymer CleviosTM is a versatile material that can be adopted for new industrial sectors and applications.

CleviosTM is considered the ideal material for printed electronics due to its high electrical conductivity, flexibility, and processability, allowing for printing onto a variety of substrates, including paper, plastics, and textiles. Our product is also sustainable, easy and safe to use.

The flexibility and mechanical properties of CleviosTM makes it well-suited for producing flexible and stretchable electronics. These materials can conform to curved surfaces and withstand repeated cycles of bending and stretching without losing their electrical conductivity.

CleviosTM is highly compatible with solution-based printing methods, such as inkjet printing or screen printing. This allows for precise control over the deposition of the polymer on the substrate, enabling the creation of intricate patterns and circuit designs.

CleviosTM also has the advantage of tunable electrical conductivity. Its conductivity can be tailored to meet specific requirements of the printed electronic device. This versatility makes it suitable for a wide range of applications, from simple electronic circuits to complex sensors and displays.
